Lionel MARTIN joined August Debouzy patent litigation team in 2014. Together with Grégoire Desrousseaux and François Pochart, he manages a team of lawyers and patent attorneys, a large number of whom have dual legal and technical qualifications.

Himself with his dual scientific and legal background, being both qualified as European Patent Attorney and attorney-at-law, and with its more than 15 years of experience in patent, he handles patent litigation matters, before French Courts, Unified Patent Court and the European Patent Office (EPO) in French and English. The vast majority of his cases are mixed patent litigation cases pending both before the EPO and before the French Courts with a strong interplay. His scientific education steered him to deal with cases in telecommunication (FRAND licensing induced litigation), energy, medical devices and automotive involving almost systematically large corporations in these fields implying for him to deal with abroad clients.
