Don Clark has written about technology for nearly four decades, focusing frequently on IP and antitrust battles, as well as reporting on emerging IP business models. During his 23 years at the Wall Street Journal, he covered IP disputes involving Qualcomm, Apple, Samsung, Marvell, EMC, and Cisco, as well as the rise of Intellectual Ventures, Ocean Tomo Auctions, RPX, AST, and Unified Patents. He began his career at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and worked seven years at the San Francisco Chronicle before joining the Journal. He is currently a freelance contributor to the New York Times.
