Ross Helfer is the Director of IP for Skybell Technologies, Inc. and Contour LLC. where he also manages strategy and M&A activities for those companies. Ross currently oversees the management of hundreds of IP assets in the areas of home IoT, security technologies, video streaming, and image processing. He has developed and managed cases of patent litigation at both the federal district court level as well as at the ITC. Ross joined Skybell through Skybell’s acquisition of Eyetalk365, a company Ross founded and managed that specialized in the development of IP in the field of video imaging and home security. He also advises companies regarding patent portfolio development and their IP operational strategy.  Ross’s prior business activities include founding several IT companies in addition to experience in the investment banking industry.
