The 2018 IP Dealmakers Conference was held at the Apella in NYC on November 6-8. Sold out for the fifth year in a row, the conference continued to be the premier forum for investment funds, corporate executives, and monetization experts focused on intellectual property.
The actively attended sessions covered topics such as SEP, FRAND and Getting Ready for 5G; IP Investing Opportunities; Corporate Governance and Activist Investing in IP; IP Monetization in Europe and the Impact of Brexit; Enforcement and Licensing in China; Big Data, AI and Blockchain. In addition to the lively discussions and debate during the panels, participants engaged in a record-breaking 300 one-to-one meetings over the course of two days.
